Summer Camp Check List

o Medical form (signed by Doctor) including insurance number, parents’ signature and your SS#. Where your swim suit under your uniform on the first day of camp. After setting up camp you will be expected to take a swim test.
o Medicine in original container - and noted on medical form. Insect Repellent.
o Full Scout uniform - Scout shirt, Scout shorts, Scout belt, Scout socks, Neckerchief Slides
o Class "B" uniform - Troop 3 Shirt
o Hat
o Scouting T-shirts
o Extra clothing - socks (7+ pairs), underwear, shoes, etc.
o Long pants for cool nights, one pair
o Sweater or jacket
o Rainwear (We recommend a Rain Suit)
o Sleeping bag or bedding, and pillow
o Clothes Line
o Laundry bag
o Sleep wear
o 2 pairs swim trunks
o Sun block
o Flashlight & extra batteries. No larger then 2 D-cell type.
o Soap, comb, toothbrush, washcloth, bath towel, and other personal items
o Repair kit (needle, thread, buttons, safety pins, shoe laces)
o Canteen or water bottle
o Cup or Mug with Scouts name on it
o Chair
o 2 Pairs of closed toe outdoor shoes/boots - sneakers only around troop site
o Scout Handbook, pens, pencils, notebooks, RED FOLDER, Partial Blue cards, merit badge books
o Money for crafts, Trading Post, cokes, snacks ($27 is recommended)
o Optional items such as watch, camera, compass, belt pack, day pack, books, work gloves, etc.
o No electronic games, radios, or tape players. No camouflage or military clothing. They will be confiscated and returned at the end of the week!
o IF NEEDED - Baseball Mitt. Basket for Merit badge
o PUT SCOUTS NAME ON EVERYTHING!!
