About Troop 3

Troop 3 is the oldest, continuously run Scout Troop on Long Island. We where first Chartered in September of 1911. Hence our motto, "Oldest and Boldest."

Troop 3 is sponsored by Suffolk County Correctional Officers Association.
We have always been here to serve our youth from the Smithtown, Hauppauge area.

We are part of the Boy Scouts of America
Locally, we are part of the Suffolk Council
and the Matinecock District

Troop meetings are held every Tuesday evening, from 7:30PM to 8:30PM at Calvary Lutheran Church, on Town Line Road in Hauppauge.
